Sapin II Law (2016) — France's anti-corruption and whistleblower protection law, named after Finance Minister Michel Sapin. It created the first statutory whistleblower protections in France, covering employees who report crimes, regulatory violations, or threats to health and the environment. Whistleblowers must follow a graduated disclosure process (internal → regulator → public). The law also created the Agence Française Anticorruption (AFA) to prevent and detect corruption.
